Fusible Plugs
The fusible plugs protect the aplications against damage due to thermal overload.
When the response temperature is reached, the solder core of fusible plug melts and the operating fluid escapes.
Corrosion resistant construction and available in brass or stainless steel.
Fusible Plugs are limited to be used in applications where the service pressure does not exceed 500 psig (3,440 kPa).
Fusible Plugs do not protect against overpressure from improper charging practices.
Screws with property class 8.8 or higher (to DIN EN 20898-1/ISO 898-1) are used.
Other materials available upon request.
